Happy Birthday Nana and Happy Shower Derin and Karisa!

This was a fun weekend for the little Miss- we went to Cleveland for Aunt Karisa and Uncle Derin's wedding shower- Avery had a blast playing with her aunt and uncle! Unfortunately Mommy forgot her memory card, so we don't have any pictures quite yet! On Monday night we celebrated Nana's b-day with Nana, Papa, Uncle Scott, Aunt Jen, and Cousin Addy. Tons of fun ensued, complete with another photo shoot with matching outfits- these girls are doomed! The pics are pretty funny- they seem to be discussing how ridiculous their parents are! There is a pic of Avery's first time in her grown-up high chair (ah the milestones)...I'm also including a video from a few weeks ago of Avery rolling over- I thought I'd post it because it showcases her lazy rolling over style- pretty funny! She rolls both ways now, but she is still pretty slow to do it- very chill! :)

Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Olympics!

Well, we have become those parents who torture their children by creating videos that seem hilarious to the parents. Driven a little nuts from cabin fever (by the continuing cold weather) and the dream of Avery one day competing in the Olympics, we dressed her up like a ski jumper...
It's also Valentine's Day, so of course that means more torturing! Avery put on her Valentine's Day dress and visited Cousin Addy, who (what a coincidence!) has the same dress. A photo shoot ensued, and fun was had by all (except for the babies!). We also included some other funny pics of Avery with her Nana and Papa, and one of her in a little dog outfit, making quite possibly the funniest hand gesture and expression we've ever seen her make. What a precious, tolerable, awesome girl!

Cutie Pants

We took tons of pics and video this week- no special reasons, just because Avery is so stinkin cute! Still no video of Avery's elusive rolling over episodes- it's like trying to catch a Sasquatch on video. However, we did get three cute videos- one of Ave sitting up (she does pretty well on her own but still needs someone there to spot her), another of her talking to her Grandpa Tom (Grandma and Grandpa Beeching came to visit this weekend and brought Ave Minnie Mouse ears from Disney World- so cute!), and another of her playing with a toy that her Nana and
Papa Finney got her (labeled six month and up, but she can press the lever on it now- this solidified her genius status to us...). We also got some neat pics- Avery had her first (super brief) adventure in the snow this weekend. It was a very "Christmas Story" moment ("I can't put my arms down!") as we bundled her in tons of layers. There's also a picture of Avery and her cousin Addy sleeping side by side in their car seats as they prepared to watch the Superbowl on Sunday night.
