Viva Las Vegas!

Okay, so maybe I'm using Ave's blog to post pictures of our Vegas trip...it was a super fun time, although...I will say that if I never make it back to Vegas, my life will still be complete- that city is a little fast for me! :) We had a blast spending time with Derin and Karisa, who came down and met us from Seattle! We gambled (yikes), saw Cirque Du Soleil (the Beatles LOVE show, which was fabulous), ate at some great places, and spent lots of time chatting.  It was SO nice to see them.  We also hung out with Deidre and Joe, friends from Western Row who happened to be in Vegas at the same time! :)  The other pics are random late winter moments with little Miss Ave., who is currently suffering from some sort of pneumonia/asthma hybrid that is just awful- lots of traumatic breathing treaments and medicine- yuck!  I think we probably have an asthma kiddo on our hands!

Snow in March...Finally!

Oh, how we love snow...for short periods that is... that's why a little last minute snow in March isn't such a bad thing...a chance to put on your snow pants that you haven't worn all winter and scamper out into a half inch of white stuff...and of course, have a cup of hot chocolate when you are done!  

By the way, at the end of the outside video, Avery wipes out as she's running to the steps; don't worry about our little trooper- she had so much padding on from the snowsuit, she just giggled!
