Riding the Rails to the Pumpkin Patch

A couple of Sundays ago we took a first-time-ever trip on the Lebanon-Mason railroad to Schappacher's Farm/Pumpkin Patch with Nana and Papa. Good times were had by all, especially Avery, who LOVED the train ride, even though it topped out at speeds of about 5 MPH- we rode 4 miles in about 45 minutes- ha ha! She also enjoyed feeding a (slightly crazed and definitely chubby) donkey a large raw carrot and riding in a homemade barrel train (genius).  Despite the super chilly weather, it was good Fall fun for sure! 

Avery's Princess Birthday Extravaganza :)

Random mommy moment! :) Just realized that even though I posted pictures to Facebook, I never posted them to the blog for Ave's birthday! That's what happens when you FINALLY get on Facebook- ha!  For her third birthday, Avery had a princess party that was one for the books! :)  Complete with a princess castle cake (constructed by Mommy, Nana, and Mimi- mostly Nana and Mimi), princess games and crafts, and a visit from Snow White (both exciting and terrifying for the girls- ha! Everyone had a ball!
