More Walking and Dancing, Too!

So cute! Avery is becoming more proficient at keeping her balance and walking (yikes!). She also loves to dance anytime there is music on! We just had Avery's 9 month appointment; she weighed in at 18 1/2 pounds, and she is 28 1/2 inches long (super tall!).

Here Comes the Walking!

Here we go! From pulling up everywhere to putting one foot in front of the other! 9 months and trying to walk! I captured her practicing on the top video. The other short videos are generally funny or cute things she's just happened to do with the video camera in the room:).

So Busy

Oh, what a busy little girl we have! These videos are from 2 weeks ago (well, the one in the hotel room with the suitcase is from Seattle which was about 2 and a half weeks ago), and since that time, Avery has become even busier! She moves constantly, crawling or doing this weird and cute crawl/walk on one leg thing. She pulls up constantly and even walks along furniture and stands briefly unassisted. Jeez!!! My whole plan to finish my Master's degree this year instead of when she was just born because I thought it would be "easier" is quickly looking like not such a good plan...ha ha! Oh well, she's too cute for words, and speaking of words, she can say ma-ma, da-da, and duh (dog) all with meaning. Her nana thinks she said "bye" yesterday as well, but I'm not so sure:). Anyway, she is growing up at light speed!

Avery's First Airplane Ride...and Sleepful in Seattle!

We have the best girl ever! Avery took her first trip this weekend to Seattle to see her Uncle Derin get married, and oh my goodness! What a good girl she was. She slept the entire way out on the 5 hour flight in between Nana and I on an extra seat (thank you Delta!). Nana and Papa were awesome to come with us, and helped tremendously with the little lady. She was wonderful in Seattle, and ended up sleeping all over the city...in Pike's Place (where they throw the fish) Market, on a harbor cruise, and even at the wedding itself (which was beautiful!). She was awake for most of the flight home, but played quietly and was beloved by other passengers who she flirted with with smiles and long lines of jibberish! Avery did great, and was so excited to be able to see her all of her grandparents, and of course, Uncle Derin and Aunt Karisa!
