Busy Busy!

Whew! Life is certainly busy these days...I'm back to work (sigh), and already feeling the mommy guilt. Our little lady is in a constant state of activity...she took her first two real steps without holding on to anything on August 10th, but since then she's pretty much been just cruising around the house holding on to stuff. She also just stands straight up and stays that way for long periods of time now- pretty cute...:) Our house has been super busy too as we are working on remodeling our master bath. Avery's Grandpa Tom has been hanging out with us for over a week overseeing all of the work. We are so grateful for all of his hard work- Avery's Grandma also came down from Cleveland to help out while I had some professional obligations. Avery definitely enjoyed all of the attention! :) We are really thankful that Grandma and Grandpa Beeching were willing to come down and help! Here's a little video of Ave:).

Addy's Baptism and Fun on the Farm

Last weekend we celebrated cousin Addy's baptism! It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed hanging out with the family! Last weekend we also got a chance to go to lunch with an old friend, Julie, who I visited Ireland with in 2001- ahh, memories! This weekend it was time for more family fun as we took a trip to visit Avery's Great Grandma and Grandpa in Illinois! It was awesome to see the farm; Avery LOVED looking at the sheep and the goats! She also got to meet all of her extended family members- amazing! Of course, Addy and Avery wore many coordinating outfits; we sent some of them in to US Weekley's "Who Wore it Best?" :) It was an awesome weekend!
