First Haircut, Burning off Summer Energy, and Lunch with Cousin Addy

First haircut...sniff,sniff! Avery enjoyed sitting in the car chair at "Cookie Cutters," and she certainly enjoyed the sucker, but the scissors coming towards her face- not so much! :) We only had a tiny bit cut, just enough to tame the rockin mullet that was getting out of control!
The Gymboree videos are pretty typical activitie for our favorite summer pasttime! I don't know what we'd do without the Gymboree unlimited pass- we go 3 times a week- it's a lifesaver when it's too hot to go outside and I've reached my limit of the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" :).
The last pics are of Avery and cousin Addy enjoying an outdoor lunch on one of the cooler days this week!:)

P.S.- This is a disclaimer for the Gymboree video in which Avery is the only child running on the bumpy mat without a parent- I was trying to encourage independence...okay, I was trying to video her- please don't judge me! :)

Whew! Our busy summer continues! Time flies when you're having fun, or chasing a wild child:). We spent the weekend with Avery's grammy and grandpa, who got Avery a brand new wagon as an early birthday present (thanks grammy and grandpa!)- it is a sweet ride. Definitely trumps the red Radio Flyers I remember! This weekend she learned to hit a baseball, go "under" in the pool (by accident, but she loved it!), and dodge a really cool snake (at the outdoor graduation party we went to...). What a fun weekend! :) We love summer!
